Web Programming Lab
The Web and Programming Lab is designed to provide diploma students with practical exposure to modern web technologies and programming languages. The lab supports hands-on learning to build dynamic, interactive and user-friendly websites. This lab offers step-by-step guidance in developing both static and dynamic web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Python. Students learn to integrate various multimedia elements such as text, images, animations, videos, and audio into their web projects. Through practical sessions students can explore client-side and server-side scripting, enabling communication between the browser and web server to create functional web applications. It aims to build technical expertise, logical thinking and real-world web development skills among students, preparing them for careers in the IT industry.
Database Management System lab
This Lab offers practical exposure to the design, development, and management of databases using various data models and tools. The laboratory helps students gain a strong understanding of database management concepts, relational database principles, and non-relational (NoSQL) systems through hands-on experiments. Students work extensively with SQL to create, query, and manage databases, implement normalization, constraints, indexing, transactions, and security features. The lab uses industry-relevant software such as MySQL, Oracle Database, MongoDB and Apache Cassandra to provide real-world experience. This laboratory equips students with essential skills in efficient data storage, retrieval, and management for modern database-driven applications.
Object-Oriented Programming with Java Lab
The Java Programming Lab aims to provide students with extensive practical experience in Java programming and object-oriented methodologies. The laboratory enables students to gain a clear understanding of core Java concepts such as classes and objects, inheritance, polymorphism, abstraction, interfaces, and exception handling through structured experiments and programming tasks.
In this laboratory, students write, compile, and execute Java programs using commonly used development tools such as JDK, Eclipse IDE, NetBeans and so-on. The lab supports the development of console-based and basic graphical applications, file handling techniques, and modular programming practices. Regular hands-on sessions help students enhance their logical reasoning, analytical skills, and coding proficiency, preparing them for higher studies and professional careers in software development and the IT sector.
